COMMENTAIRE
La gamme est parfois un peu compliquée à suivre et l’harmonie des étiquettes certainement perfectible, mais Jean-Paul Brun est ainsi et ce n’est pas à son âge qu’on va le changer. Autant le prendre pour ses qualités : l’élaboration de vins gourmands et profonds, en rouge mais aussi en blanc, ce qui n’est pas si fréquent dans le Beaujolais. Des gamays convaincants, en appellations régionales comme en crus où il s’est depuis longtemps implanté, mais aussi des pinots noirs que les Bourguignons peuvent jalouser.
