Virgile Lignier, viticulteur intelligent et ambitieux, fait partie de l’élite de la nouvelle génération bourguignonne, celle qui progressivement retrouve le style des grands producteurs des années 1920 et 1930. Son style privilégie la droiture, au prix parfois d’un léger manque de chair. Ce sont des vins qui trouveront aisément écho dans la belle restauration car la plupart se feront assez vite. Les villages sont ici fort bien traités en 2016. Nous regrettons que le domaine n'ait pas présenté ses 2017 à nos dégustations comparatives et ne pouvons pas nous prononcer sur ce millésime.
