Issu d'un clos sur un sol plus calcaire au sommet du Pfingstberg, dont une partie chevauche le grand cru, le vin se montre encore fermé et compact avec un nez discret et une bouche dense, puissante et très minérale. À garder absolument pour voir se révéler un grand riesling.

Depuis la faillite retentissante de ce négociant d’Orschwihr, les enfants Albrecht continuent la production à partir de vignes de famille. Le pinot noir est l’une de leurs spécialités.
