Issu d'un clos sur un sol de grès gris plus calcaire au sommet du Pfingstberg, dont une partie chevauche le grand cru, le vin se montre élégant au nez, concentré en bouche avec une acidité fine qui lui donne de l'allonge. Un vin à garder. Il n'y a pas eu de 2005 ni de 2006 produits.

Depuis la faillite retentissante de ce négociant d’Orschwihr, les enfants Albrecht continuent la production à partir de vignes de famille. Le pinot noir est l’une de leurs spécialités.
