Ce domaine familial, apparenté par les grands-parents Merme au domaine Perrot-Minot, se singularise par sa position sur deux secteurs : l’ensemble de la côte de Nuits, avec de remarquables terroirs de Gevrey à Nuits, et des vignes d’origine Taupenot, sur Saint-Romain et Auxey-Duresses. La nouvelle génération, Romain Taupenot et sa sœur Virginie, est attachée à produire des vins précis et racés, dans le respect du classicisme bourguignon, et ils y parviennent avec bonheur. Le 2018 est très réussi ici et sera l'un des meilleurs millésimes du domaine, gageons qu'il représente un nouveau départ pour ce domaine aux terroirs prestigieux.
