Actuellement l’un des premiers acteurs du vin en Alsace, Bestheim pourrait devenir plus hégémonique encore si le projet annoncé en janvier 2024 de fusion avec Wolfberger arrive à son terme. Très présente en grande distribution, où elle écoule plus de 80 % de ses vins, la cave élabore une large gamme où les crémants (aujourd’hui la moitié des volumes de la cave) sont régulièrement réussis. En vins secs, les cuvées Exception tirent leur épingle du jeu, tout comme le pinot noir L’Impatient.
