Nez puissant mais discret, un peu refermé aujourd'hui. La bouche est puissante, sur les épices et les fleurs, intense et savoureuse, avec une impression de mâcher une pêche de vigne en finale. Belle pureté. Le jeune âge des vignes limite la longueur en bouche.

Clotilde Davenne couvre toutes les appellations entre Chablis et Irancy, en comptant les régionales. Ses saint-bris sont régulièrement de bonne facture, quand la grêle ne vient pas ravager la récolte, comme en 2016.
