Étendard des grands rouges corsés d'Alsace, le pinot noir du clos Saint-Landelin possède en 2004 une densité et une profondeur remarquables. L'élevage en barriques neuves est déjà bien intégré, donnant un équilibre puissant très souple.

Ici on travaille en famille : Véronique et son frère Thomas sont aux commandes et René, leur père, n’est jamais loin. Le domaine est situé au pied du clos Saint-Landelin, monopole planté à l’extrémité sud du grand cru Vorbourg, où le pinot noir et le muscat sont régulièrement réussis. Originaire de Westhalten, la famille a repris quelques vignes dans cette vallée Noble qu’elle connaît si bien, dans le Steinstuck et le grand cru Zinnkoepflé, ce qui lui permet de compléter sa gamme.
