Puissant et encore un peu massif, une belle réserve minérale sous-jacente et surtout une vivacité splendide, ses vieux jours seront des jours heureux. Il goûte riche mais sec.

Daniel et son épouse Sylvie dirigent ce domaine de Mittelbergheim, bien implanté notamment sur le grand cru Zotzenberg. Le vignoble est en agriculture biologique. Les vins du Zotzenberg sont régulièrement les plus réussis, dès lors qu'ils n'affichent pas un résiduel trop marqué.
