Récolté à forte maturité, le vin montre un équilibre demi-sec de grande pureté, avec des arômes de fleurs blanches suivis par une bouche profonde, minéral et de grande longueur. Un grand zotzenberg de garde.

Daniel et son épouse Sylvie dirigent ce domaine de Mittelbergheim, bien implanté notamment sur le grand cru Zotzenberg. Le vignoble est en agriculture biologique. Les vins du Zotzenberg sont régulièrement les plus réussis, dès lors qu'ils n'affichent pas un résiduel trop marqué.
