Il ne faut surtout pas confondre ce domaine avec un autre Domaine Louis Boillot, sis à Volnay, même si celui-ci possède également des vignes sur Pommard et Volnay : c'est la Bourgogne ! Louis est le mari de Ghislaine Barthod. Il vinifie et élève à Chambolle-Musigny les vins de son domaine, division de l'ancien Domaine Lucien Boillot, la seconde partie de ce domaine ayant été reprise par son frère.
