Plus clair que le rosenberg dont il est pourtant issu. En bouche la puissance est plus marquée, l’élevage en fût aussi, on y gagne en chair et en toucher ce qu’on y perd en expression de sol.

Depuis 2002, Jérôme Buecher a en charge les 30 hectares du domaine familial, dont quelques parcelles sur les grands crus Brand, Hengst et Sommerberg. Depuis le millésime 2015, nous notons une progression des vins du domaine dans la juste direction, mieux équilibrés, avec chaque année plusieurs cuvées qui se distinguent lors de nos dégustations.
