La tentation de laisser traîner quelques grammes de sucre est grande en Alsace, et ce domaine n’y échappe hélas pas, rendant compliqués la plupart des accords mets et vins connus. Ce riesling s’en sort mieux, avec un fruité mûr, de la tension en bouche, même si sa pointe de sucre lui enlève un peu d’énergie.

Depuis 2002, Jérôme Buecher a en charge les 30 hectares du domaine familial, dont quelques parcelles sur les grands crus Brand, Hengst et Sommerberg. Depuis le millésime 2015, nous notons une progression des vins du domaine dans la juste direction, mieux équilibrés, avec chaque année plusieurs cuvées qui se distinguent lors de nos dégustations.
