Cette maison a complètement révolutionné sa position dans l’univers bourguignon et métamorphosé le style de ses vins. La famille Boisset, sans doute agacée des commentaires habituels et fière du renouveau de son domaine de la Vougeraie, a eu l’heureuse idée d’engager le talentueux Grégory Patriat, jeune, brillant et surtout anticonformiste, formé à l’école de Lalou Bize-Leroy, pour produire des vins dignes des meilleurs producteurs. C’est aujourd’hui chose faite, au prix d’une considérable diminution des volumes.
