Difficile de se faire une place au soleil parmi les grands noms du village de Ribeauvillé. Ce domaine y parvient très bien, grâce au travail appliqué de Paul Fuchs et de sa sœur Julie, la quatrième génération de la famille. Le riesling brille, tant sur les gneiss du Hagel que les marno-calcaires du Kirchberg et le pinot noir est une franche réussite, sur le Kirchberg (Rouge comme Renard) comme sur la Weinbaum (l’Arbre à vin), terroir qui convient également bien au sylvaner. Même le pinot gris, d’équilibre sec, nous a convaincus cette année.
