Version alsacienne du savagnin rose, le klevener de Heiligenstein souffre d'une production trop faible et de qualité trop moyenne pour être reconnu. Pourtant, lorsqu'il est bien fait comme ici, c'est un vin fruité et épicé au nez, riche et de style demi-sec en bouche, avec une belle ampleur et une finale épicée.

L’un des domaines les plus réputés du village de Barr, qui pratique une viticulture bio labellisée. La gamme est soignée même si encore trop de sucre résiduel ne vient ternir l’équilibre gastronomique de certaines cuvées. Les prix demandés restent très raisonnables.
