COMMENTAIRE

La grande maison de Ribeauvillé, symbole historique du négoce alsacien, est devenue au fil des acquisitions un très important propriétaire de vignes, notamment en grands crus (Rosacker, Osterberg, Geisberg, Mandelberg, Brand, Schlossberg, etc.). Depuis peu, les noms de terroirs sont d’ailleurs mis en avant, même si les marques comme Frédéric Émile (riesling) ou Seigneurs de Ribeaupierre (gewurztraminer) continuent d’être produites. Dernier exemple en date, la mise en avant du terroir de la Weinbaum avec une cuvée historique de sylvaner du vignoble maison, issu d’un terroir situé au sommet du grand cru Osterberg.
