Alexandre Schoffit a aujourd’hui en main ce domaine qui a pour particularité d’être à la périphérie de la ville de Colmar, dans un secteur plutôt résidentiel. L’histoire du domaine se conjugue avec la plaine de la Harth, secteur longtemps de tradition maraîchère et viticole, aujourd’hui grignoté par l’urbanisme. Terroir quelconque lorsqu’il est travaillé avec négligence, la Harth permet la production de bons vins quand on sait soigner ses rendements, comme c’est le cas ici. Dans le grand cru Rangen, à Thann, autre secteur important du domaine, les Schoffit exploitent le clos Saint-Théobald.
